Llalla

Lalla

SuperLlalla is a teacher at a secondary school and university in Paris. From a young age, she has been a big sneaker fan. When Llalla was growing up in Paris it was important to wear the shoes of the moment. This determined her status in the schoolyard. Her obsession with sneakers has never left her.

In Llalla's younger years, she loved Reebok and adidas, but now she only wears Nike Air Max's. She has a large and growing collection of over three hundred pairs.

Her obsession with sneakers is part of the bond between Llalla and her students. The students always see her as the cool teacher because of her style and the fact that she has a different pair on her feet almost every day.

Besides her love for sneakers, she is also a big fan of music. When she was young, she shared her bedroom with her older brother who has a great passion for hip-hop. Since then, she has known the Paris hip-hop scene inside out.

Ania

Ania

Ania was born and raised in London. In 2002, she moved to the Netherlands to work for The Panics. As a partner and producer at the Amsterdam-based broadcaster, she focuses on the creative and economic aspects of commercial and original content. In London, she has worked for British programmes such as The Word, Big Breakfast and Des O'Connor Tonight.

In Ania's teenage years, she was very involved in athletics. During the late 1980s, New York hip-hop became very popular in London. This sparked her love for sneakers and hip-hop culture in general. During her student years, she focused her studies on subcultures. The passion for observing music, fashion and identity never left her.

Ania

In the late 1990s, Ania became part of the Unorthodox Styles team behind the Crooked Tongues website and hip-hop Spine Magazine. Here she learned a lot about sneakers and her passion for them grew even more.

When she moved to Amsterdam, she knew Jason Fulton from This Memento who also moved to Holland from London. The other only person Ania knew when she moved was Edson Sabajo of Patta. Now Ania has two teenage daughters who have taken over her love for sneakers.
