It's the weekend again and that means a new mix on Sneakerjagers Radio in collaboration with La Cassette Recordings!
With SJ Radio & La Cassette Recordings, we're trying to give more and more DJs a place outside of our network. Many faces are already familiar to us from past events of La Cassette in the EKKO, Weelde or Filmcafe. This time with one of our favourite DJs/Producers: Quazi Darko!
Darko was at the 3rd edition of The Postroom at de Nijverheid in Utrecht in 2019. There he played a set with live beats, bass & guitar together with Quincy Fulo. But besides making beats live, Darko is also a producer and DJ. He used to be a DJ for Snelle and nowadays he plays as a regular DJ for Pjotr, also of hiphop label/friend group 'Lieve Jongens'.
In addition, he is one half of the electronic duo ShaeShae, with whom he once performed on stage at Into The Woods in Amersfoort. A real electronic jack-of-all-trades. Expect the most diverse tunes in this set. From old-school hip-hop tracks to brand new beats.
