PUMA x BALR Future Rider

PUMA's iconic Fast Rider is back again, this time in collaboration with the dutch luxury lifestyle brand BALR. The two well knwon brands have given the sneaker a new makeover. PUMA's Fast Rider was launched in 1980, for the first time . Now, thirty years later, it has been refurbished and is ready for the 21st century. This time, the football sneaker is a project of PUMA in collaboration with BALR. The BALR brand was set up in 2013 by a.o. football player Demy de Zeeuw. BALR makes clothing, shoes and accessories for men and women. According to the football players themselves, it is the perfect combination between sport and luxury.

PUMA x BALR Future Rider

These slim football shoes have been enhanced with an IMEVA midsole for ultimate, sumptuous comfort. This midsole is white with a silver detail overflowing to the upper. This upper is made of black suede and synthetic overlays. The mesh material is also used on the front of the sneaker. The silver colour can be seen on details such as the stitching and branding. These silver details can be found more often in the BALR collections, so it is no surprise that they are also on this sneaker. See the pictures at the bottom of this blog!
