Several PUMA Palermo colorways will start dropping on 20 October 2023. To announce this, PUMA has launched its first-ever Palermo campaign. Starring none other than Jack Grealish, Manchester City's beloved midfielder, who is a style icon both on and off the pitch.
The Palermo trainer was originally part of a collection of PUMA sneakers that paid homage to some of Europe's most famous capital cities, including London, Oslo and more.
It has been more than 45 years since the trainer was first released, now in October 2023, the latest pack captures the essence of travelling from city to city with a range of new colours.
The silhouette retains its retro-inspired T-toe, classic gum sole and signature label with PUMA branding in gold. The Palermo's modest aesthetic fits perfectly with the current trend of 'less is more'.
In the recently launched campaign, Jack Grealish embraces effortless Italian style and combines the DNA of football's past and present. The images show Grealish putting his own spin on the Palermo.
Here, he combines the silhouette with a variety of looks, including classic light-washed denim to oversized overcoats, and even sporty outfits such as a PUMA jersey with matching burgundy ribbed velvet trousers.
Six new colorways of the PUMA Palermo will start dropping on 20 October 2023 for 90€ at PUMA and several retailers. This marks the beginning of a new chapter, as PUMA reveals that there is much more in store for the year 2023.
