PSG and Nike are no strangers to each other. Every year, the French football club and Nike come up with a great sneaker release and clothing collection. Last year they released the PSG Air Jordan 4 which was sold out everywhere in no time. This year we can expect the PSG x Air Jordan 1 Zoom Comfort.
Zoom technology is being used more and more at Nike. This technology was first released over twenty years ago. Zoom technology is simply compressed air that is combined with tightly stretched fibres to absorb shock. These shocks are then transformed into rapid movements, which in turn reduces the strain on the muscles, joints and tendons. Zoom has been used on the Air Jordan 1 for a while now, but we also saw it on the Nike Air Force 1, which had Zoom technology in the insole.

It is the first time that PSG collaborates with Nike on an Air Jordan 1 Zoom Comfort. The Zoom technology makes this sneaker extremely comfortable. Looking at the base, the sneaker has an off-white colour and is made of suede, combined with black suede overlays on the mudguard, heel and lacing system. What makes this sneaker so special is the purple colour that can be found around the ankle. This area is also given a deconstructed look.
The Swoosh has been removed from the midfoot and is underneath a blue oil colour that changes depending on how you look at the sneaker. The PSG branding is placed on the heel. When we look at the sole, we see that it has been given a white colour and is combined with a black rubber outsole. This sole of course contains the comfortable Zoom technology.
The Air Jordan 1 Zoom Comfort 'PSG' will be released on Wednesday, February 17 at Nike for £134. Check out more images below and keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers news page to stay up to date with the latest sneaker news.
