On November 19, 2021, the third colorway of the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 'Wave' collaboration dropped. The red-purple 'Rush Maroon' sneaker once again attracted many visitors to the Patta store in Amsterdam. Unlike the previous colorways, the Patta x Wave 'Rush Maroon' was available via a raffle. As a result, the queue was a lot shorter than the past few times.
Raffle pick-up
The 'Rush Maroon' colorway was released at Patta on November 19, 2021. Due to rising corona infections, the shop opted for the release to take place online.
Through a raffle you could win a pair in your desired size. The sneakers could then be collected from the shop in Amsterdam.
The Patta store was again appropriately decorated with a wave that covered the entire shop. This time, the wave was of course in the sneaker's main colour: Maroon.
Patta x Wave 'Rush Maroon'
The 'Maroon' variant of the Patta x Nike 'The Wave' collab, also features the signature wavy mudguard. Furthermore, the sneaker has a 'Pure Platinum' base that combines nicely with the silver lettering on the tongue and with the lower layer of the double swoosh on the sides.
As a nice detail, a burned orange colour has been added to the lining and the upper eyelets. This warm colour can also be seen on the back of the sneaker, near the heel on the logo.
Besides the raffle, the sneaker also became available online. On Patta's website, the kicks came online at 13:00. The corresponding clothing collection also dropped at the same time on the website. Various items, such as shirts with prints, were available.
