"The founders, Edson and Gee, were closely involved in the early years of the underground Dutch Hip-Hop scene. They met in the cultural record shop and label, Fatbeats. A pillar of the underground culture in Amsterdam and the other capitals.
Since then, the Dutch and European Hip-Hop scene has gone from strength to strength. This constant growth in the European scene came from a position of hope and aspiration of people like Gee and Edson. Approaching and constantly pushing a positive "can-do" attitude in every situation. A genuine belief that if you just keep knocking on the door, something good will happen. This is Hip-Hop. It is an underground attitude. Fighting back against oppression and promoting your own culture and the ones you see around you."

In addition to an autumnal theme, the styles also have 90's hip hop as an underlying source of inspiration. Both the founders grew up in that era and therefore know how to convey this in their designs like no other.
The first drop of the Patta Autumn Winter 2021 Season is from 23 July @ 1 p.m. CET available via Patta.nl, their mobile app and in-store at Patta Amsterdam, Milan and London.
