The Dutch fashion brand Filling Pieces divides their shoes into Signature Footwear and Innovation Footwear.
The brand's Signature Footwear line includes models that are more familiar. In the Innovation Footwear line, there are new trainers and shoes. They use new techniques and materials to design these shoes.
To introduce you to the Innovation Footwear line of Filling Pieces, we have made a list of our ten favourites. The first five are for men and the other five for women. Scroll down to see them. 1. Curb Fierce White
One of our favourites is the Curb Fierce White. This model belongs to the Innovation Footwear line because the upper is made of nappa leather. The overlays are made of fake snakeskin. This gives the sneaker a slight contrast in colour, but a clear contrast in material.

2. Lux Radar Hike Navy
The Lux Radar Hike Navy combines the running shoe with elements of hiking boots. The upper is made of nylon, mesh and nubuck leather. This combination gives this model a more luxurious look. The Radar outsole provides extra grip on the ground.

3. Crease Runner Sprint Black
The Crease Runner Sprint Black has a unique look. The upper is made of different materials such as nylon, suede, nappa leather and nubuck leather. The rubber outsole runs not only on the bottom of the foot, but also partly on the side. On the heel and on the tongue is the Filling Pieces logo.

4. Team Mule Ox Blood/Navy
Filling Pieces does not only focus on sneakers, but also on other shoes. One of these non-athletic shoes is the Team Mule Ox Blood/Navy. The upper of this model is made of polo leather in two colours. The outer half is very dark blue, almost black, and the inner half is very dark red. On the instep is a buckle of two hands shaking each other in gold.

5. Team Loafer Ox Blood
Besides mules, the Amsterdam-based brand also has loafers in their Innovation Footwear line. The Team Loafer Ox Blood is handcrafted from Polido and Nappa leather. On the toebox is a varsity patch from Filling Pieces. The theme of this collection was Support.

6. Cross Sandals All Black
To face the summer, Filling Pieces has released the Cross Sandals All Black. Both the straps across the instep and behind the heel as well as the insole are made of leather. Comfort and simplicity were central to this design process. On the side of the strap is the Filling Pieces logo in silver.

7. Lux Radar Kite Beige
The Lux Radar Kite Beige consists of many different materials. The upper consists of nubuck leather and canvas. The lace eyelets are made of stainless steel. This Lux Radar also has the Radar outsole that the brand designed itself. On the tongue is the logo of the Innovation Footwear line.

8. Reaf Zinc White
The design of the Reaf Zinc White is inspired by the F and the P of Filling Pieces. The overlays form these letters on the sides of the sneaker. The upper of this shoe is made of nappa leather with accents on the nose and heel of nubuck leather. On the heel and on the tongue is the logo.

9. Classic Loafer Black
The Classic Loafer Black is a classic shoe for the summer. The upper is made of nappa leather. On the instep is the same buckle as on the slippers, two hands that shake each other. The outsole is also made of leather. This ensures that the shoe will walk more and more comfortably.

10. Carabiner Heel White
We are closing in on our favourites from Filling Pieces their Innovation Footwear line with the Carabiner Heel White. This is a unique heel for the ladies. Because of the long strap, for over the lower leg, this model is a bit more playful. The ten centimetre high heel of this model is made of a carabiner. This hint to the architectural history of Guillaume Philibert, the founder of the brand.
