Streetwear and sneaker boutique Kith is going overseas. The brand opens its flagship store in the city of light and love, Paris. With this, Kith continues its global expansion in Europe.
KITH'S GRAND OPENING
Kith opens its flagship store today, 26 February 2021. Paris is the brand's sixth flagship store and second international location after opening in Miyashita Park in Tokyo in mid-2020.
The celebration also includes the release of co-branded and themed apparel, as well as an exclusive Nike Air Force 1 colourway. Check out the video with some sneakpeaks!
A FRESH DESIGN
Location and space
Kith opens its flagship store at 49 rue Pierre Charron, 75008. This is a short walk from the famous Arc de Triomphe. Kith Paris has a chic look similar to the boutique's other locations. Measuring 16,000 square feet, this is the largest property to date. KITH founder Ronnie Fieg worked closely with New York based artist Daniel Arsham for the property. Daniel is the co-founder of the design firm Snarkitecture. Snarkitecture presents the flagship store as a mix of fresh and monotonous designs combined with some French elements.
Interior
As with all KITH shops, the interior is characterised by the sneakers moulded in plaster. In this case, they are Air Max 1s. In addition, the premises have several floors of marble decoration. The space offers a unique lifestyle experience with KITH retail for sickening streetwear.
Equally, customers can still enjoy KITH's delicacies. At the grand opening, Major Food Group's popular New York restaurant Sadelle's will be present. They will have a special pop-up in the shop and that's not all. This is the first international outpost of Sadelle's, which is also established as a permanent restaurant in KITH Paris and where the restaurant may serve its unique brunch menu.
