The long-awaited Air Jordan 4 Retro 'Shimmer' is not long in coming and will celebrate its release soon! To be precise, the release date is set for Friday, 3 September 2021. As is often the case, you will then have the chance to win a pair in your size at 09:00 via Nike SNKRS. The beautiful kicks will cost you a well-spent €140.

For a long time, images of an Air Jordan 4 were leaked every so often, bearing the name 'Shimmer' and referencing the extremely hyped Off White x Air Jordan 4 'Sail' by Virgil Abloh in terms of colorway and use of materials.
Now it's official and we can all look forward to another clean Jordan 4 release in 2021! Look forward to rarely seen materials and lots and lots of hype. But before we all explode with anticipation, we have to tell you the less happy news for all the people with big feet:
WMNS ONLY!
Just like the aforementioned Off White Air Jordan 4, the Air Jordan 4 Retro 'Shimmer' will probably also only be released in WMNS sizing. Let's see…
There's the jewel! 🔥
In our opinion, the shoe is an eye-catcher at first sight and brings a certain elegance with it. Let's start with a little detailed analysis.
The Details
Starting with the base of the shoe, Jordan Brand gives us a soft nubuck leather in a light beige hue. The narrower cut tongue and individual overlays come in the same shade.
The Air Jordan 4's signature eyestays have been given a translucent material. The mesh underneath is white, as is the midsole, which also features individual elements in a light brown shade.
The heel tab of the Air Jordan 4 Retro 'Shimmer' has been given another beige shade. A real highlight is the Jordan branding on the tongue. Here the Jumpman comes in silver metal!
Lastly, the kicks come with a clean, bright rubber sole, which makes the design complete and coherent with smaller white elements. As you can see above, Nike includes a second pair of pink laces with each pair, in addition to the standard white ones. It's…a…wrap!
