New York-based artist Nina Chanel Abney first teamed up with Nike in 2022. After the successful release of two Air Jordan 2 colorways with matching apparel, we now see the duo's next collaboration. This time, the Air Jordan 3 silhouette will be used. The Nina Chanel Abney x Air Jordan 3 is expected to be released in June 2024.
Nina Chanel Abney is an artist born in Illinois and currently based in New York. The artist is known for her modern and contemporary art where she addresses issues of race, gender, politics, and pop culture. Her colorful works are one-of-a-kind and also caught the eye of Nike, resulting in a unique collaboration.
After the successful 2022 collaboration, the duo is coming out with a green Air Jordan 3 in the summer of 2024. The sneaker uses different shades of green and is made of canvas and suede. The midsole has been given a 'Fossil' hue, as have the laces, eyelets, and collar. The rope-like laces give the sneaker a unique twist.
In March 2024, she showed the first images of the Nina Chanel Abney x Air Jordan 3. The sneaker does not yet have an official release date. However, we can expect the pair in June 2024. Keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers news page and don't miss this release.
