Nike x Fear of God have been working together since 2018. Once again they are releasing a collection together. This time it is a line of basketball clothing, that brings together old and new school elements, with the focus obviously being on the National Basketball Association, the NBA. Together, Nike and Jerry Lorenzo's Fear of God have always focused on waking up emotional elements of the sport. The new collection also continues this approach.
Jerry Lorenzo, fashion designer from Fear of God, has upgraded real classics in his new collaboration with Nike. Especially the mesh shorts belong in the collection, says Jerry Lorenzo. "These garments arouse a subconscious desire," says Lorenzo. "Every reference is an authentic piece of an athlete's wardrobe, these are functional items that have become iconic because of the effortless coolness of the people who wore them in the 80s and 90s.

Classic NBA clothing pieces are updated through Fear of God's creativity and experience. Besides clothing we also see sneakers. At first the pair looks no different than the previously dropped Nike Air Fear of God 1 String "The Question. The sturdy basketball 'sneaker boat' has a dominant black top. The sole, with natural 'Air' in it, is white/cream coloured. The plastic details on that heel also have this colour. View pictures of the collection at the bottom of this blog!
