Following the success of the .SWOOSH x Nike Air Force 1 Low 'TINAJ' in October 2023, Nike's web3 platform, .SWOOSH, will unveil a new exclusive release in April 2024: the '404 Error' Air Force 1 Low. This new design brings together digital innovation and the world of sneakers.
The upper of the .SWOOSH x Nike Air Force 1 Low '404 Error' is deliberately kept nice and simple. What is immediately noticeable is the absence of the signature Swoosh on the side panel. This makes the base of striking 'Racer Blue' patent leather stand out even more.
But this sneaker is in fact anything but simple .SWOOSH has added all sorts of clever digital details to the design. For instance, the centre panel displays the message '404 Error, the requested upper was not found. Please try again' in contrasting white. A nod to its digital origins and a tribute to technology.
The digital theme doesn't stop at the upper, even the packaging is drenched in digital details. The boxing is turned inside out and includes a .SWOOSH sticker. Finally, subtle white digital codes on the insoles complete the design.
Although the exact release date has not yet been revealed, the exclusive .SWOOSH x Nike Air Force 1 Low '404 Error' is expected to drop in summer 2024 in the Nike SNKRS app, with exclusive access for .SWOOSH members. Stay tuned for any updates by downloading the Sneakerjagers app.
