Nike is taking notes from TikTok's latest viral trend and is turning football cleats into an everyday lifestyle. After the #BootsOnlySummer movement caught fire online, where sneaker enthusiasts were spotted with football boots as daily wear, Nike is making the leap official with a new silhouette: the Cryoshot.
Under the title of blending nostalgia with innovation, the Cryoshot collection reimagines Nike's football cleats for everyday use. Ditching the spikes in favour of a more comfortable and equally as renowned design.
As of now, Nike has teased two models in the lineup: the Cryoshot Tiempo and the Cryoshot Mercurial. Both keep the retro DNA of Nike's classic cleats but introduce a translucent shell around the midsole for a street-ready look.
