The SB Dunk Low is getting a new variant. The Nike pair gets a 'Chlorophyll' colorway and will be released in 2021.

The 'Chlorophyll' is no unknown colourway at Nike. The SB Dunk Low takes its inspiration from the Air Trainer 1 that shared the same colour scheme. The Air Trainer 1 'Chlorophyll' was first released in 1987 and was designed by Tinker Hatfield. It was re-released in 2020 and in 2021 the 'Chlorophyll' makes its appearance on a SB Dunk Low.

The 'Chlorophyll' shares the colours 'Medium Grey', black and white. The upper of the sneaker consists mainly of leather and the overlays are suede. On the nose and quarter are perforation holes, these serve to let the shoe breathe. The swoosh on the middle panel has been given a black colour, as well as the mudguard.

The name of the model hints at the green colour 'Chlorophyll' that Nike has used in other models as well. In the first published photo of the model, this green hue is not very obvious, but appears on the tongue and heeltab.

The upcoming pair does not have an exact release date yet, but is expected in 2021. Nike itself has not yet shared any official photos, so we'll have to wait for that too.
