Nike released on 10 September 2021 the 'Peace, Love, Swoosh' pack. These sneakers were first released for children, but now the models are here for men as well. The Nike 'Peace, Love, Swoosh' collection is available exclusively at Foot Locker and Nike.
Peace, Love, Swoosh pack
Nike came out with the 'Peace, Love, Swoosh' pack for kids in August 2021. This collection included an Air Force 1, Air More Uptempo, Air Max 90 and an Air Huarache. Now these sneakers have also been released in men's sizes. All four sneakers are very popular in the sports world and this is also where Nike gets its inspiration from. The 'Peace, Love, Swoosh' pack is inspired by the sports community in which Nike as a brand has a big role.
The collection pays tribute to the global sports community and shows that sports bring people together. The sneakers represent togetherness on the sports field and this is reflected in the design of the sneakers. The sneakers are colorfully accented and feature small hearts, peace signs and the Nike swoosh in the silhouette.
Nike Air Huarache
The Nike Air Huarache is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. The sneaker pair was first released in 1991 and were introduced as a running shoe. The enthusiasm for the sneaker took a while to build and very few sneakers were sold of the first batch. When Nike handed out the sneakers during the annual New York Marathon to introduce runners to the sneaker, the sneaker quickly became a popular pair.
Tinker Hatfield, also known as 'The Architect' designed many of Nike's most famous sneakers in the 90s. When he came out with the Nike Air Huarache in 1991, the model got the slogan "Have you hugged your foot today?". This because the sneaker with its tight fit embraces your foot.
In the 'Peace, Love, Swoosh' pack, the Air Huarache has been given an asymmetrical design. The left shoe is purple and the right shoe is teal. The strap features a peacock symbol, a heart and a swoosh.
Colourful sneakers
The other models from the 'Peace, Love, Swoosh' pack have almost the same colorway. The sneaker is mostly white and has colorful accents. The Nike Air Uptempo has a very striking pattern on the sides of the shoe and the 'Air' logo is printed with bright colours and peacock marks. The Air Max 90 has a more quiet silhouette. The sneaker is white and has yellow, grey and blue accents. The laces are red and green. On the back of the left shoe, there is again a peacock symbol and a heart on the right shoe.
The Air Force 1 has been given a little twist in the 'Peace, Love, Swoosh' pack. The sneaker does not have many bright colours like the other pairs, but has the three symbols of the collection printed on the sides.
The sneakaers in this pack are available exclusively at Foot Locker in children's and men's sizes. Keep an eye on our release calendar to not miss a single release. Also follow us on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter and stay up to date on all new sneaker releases.
