The highly anticipated Nike Air Max Scorpion has a release date. Designed during the pandemic, Nike's new silhouette features a striking silhouette. Designed with sustainability and innovation in mind, the sneaker will be released on 5 October 2022.
The Air Max Scorpion is Nike's latest silhouette. Designed during the pandemic, the model shows how Nike designers, engineers and scientists are pioneering new ways of virtual collaboration. The result; a modern-looking sneaker designed with 3D technologies.
The design process lasting as long as 18 months has paid off for the Air Max Scorpion. The new silhouette combines a lightweight upper with a rather striking Air Unit. According to Nike, this trainer has the largest Air Unit yet in relation to the upper. The new Air Max is also made with 20% recycled materials.
The sneaker was designed with new VR design software and simulation tools. The design incorporated morphology data and pressure maps from the Nike Sports Research Lab (NSRL). Prototype testing was also accelerated using Finite Element Analysis (FEA), a system that assesses system performance against realistic requirements.
