Nike is taking another step in its partnership with Zalando and JD Sports. It now allows you to link your Nike account to those of the retailers. This means you will benefit from exclusive experiences exclusive to Nike members. With this, the two European retailers are part of Nike's 'Connected Partnership' loyalty programme.
Nike wants to broaden its connection with global customers by offering its digital services, such as exclusive products and access to its loyalty programme, to members who buy the brand through European retailers Zalando and JD Sports.
When you link the two accounts, you can access announcements of new products, exclusive items and new digital experiences. Currently, the feature to link your accounts is already live at JD Sports and will be available at Zalando in October 2022.
With this partnership, Nike will get a good insight into all Nike members' purchases and Zalando and JD Sports will be able to offer a wider range of products and services. A successful partnership that both customer and brand will benefit from!
JD Sports CEO Régis Schultz explains how this collaboration benefits both brands: 'It amplifies the combined strength of [our] brands with our shared consumers, by leaning into their behaviour and journeys and creating new, richer and more engaging experiences'.
