Nike comes out with a new Dunk Low 'Winter Solstice', inspired by the start of Winter on the 21st December. The pair is expected to be released in 2021.

The 'Winter Solstice' takes its inspiration from the upcoming winter solstice. This takes place on 21 December 2021. The winter solstice means that the sun reaches its most southern position above the earth on this day. The winter solstice coincides with the shortest day of the year.
The date of winter solstice is reflected in the colorway. The right shoe, for example, has '21.12.21' embroidered in the tongue. The date can also be seen on the insole of the left shoe. Suns and sunbeams are stitched around the sneaker.
The Dunk combines the colours pink, red and yellow. The upper of the silhouette has a light pink colour and is made of leather. The suede overlays and mudguard have been given a red colour, as has the swoosh on the middle panel. Around the heel of the 'Winter Solstice', the yellow accents are more prominent. The suns on the heel extend to the eyestays and contrast well with the red suede.
On the heel tab, the Nike brand is stitched into the suede. The logo can also be found on the tag of the right shoe and on the insole of the left shoe. The midsole has a light pink colour and the outsole of the 'Winter Solstice' is red.
The pair has no official release date yet but is expected in 2021. The Dunk Low 'Winter Solstice' will be available exclusively in women's sizes.
