Nike announces another Air Max 1 release. The well-known 'Chili' colorway, which was released in 2003, is making a comeback. In late March 2023, the first images of the OG colorway were already released, and now Nike is showing the official images of the 'Air Max 1 Chili'. We can expect the sneaker to be released in 2023.
Shortly after the first images of the 'Chili' colorway were released, Nike now shows the official images of the sneaker. The Air Max 1 'Chili' was first released in 2003. The sneaker comes in the colours white, black, and red. Unlike its predecessor, the 2023 variant comes with a lighter grey tone on the upper.
In addition, the label on the tongue is white, instead of red. The Nike Air logo on the heel is black, whereas it was red in the 2003 version. The upper is made of mesh, and the overlays are made of soft leather. The Swoosh appears on the mid-panel. Like the eyestays and Air unit, it has a red color.
The year 2023 will be marked by Air Max 1's and Nike doesn't seem to be done yet when it comes to bringing back classic colorways. The Nike Air Max 1 'Chili' does not yet have an official release date. However, we can expect the colorway to be released in 2023.
