You really have to say that Nike is giving us some great sneaker releases this month. So far, we were happy about many announcements of new colorways and new Air Max models. But of course Nike has another aced up its sleeve and is looking forward to a new one. Not an Air Max model, but a silhouette that hasn't been on the market for a very long time. The Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Caged!
On March 27, 2020, we could already look forward to two releases of this silhouette. Nike collaborated with the streetwear label Stüssy. With this, Nike definitely gives us a foretaste of what is possible on the Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Caged and I can assure you…There will be other brands coming together for a collaboration with Nike!

Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Caged 'Varsity Red' & 'Silver'
One thing is clear: This silhouette with the two original colorings will definitely make a big wave! It is very trendy right now anyway (also among male shoe lovers) to combine such sports shoes with any outfit. Just browse through the archive again and find something suitable. That's what Nike does, and with this model it's right on time again.
Varsity Red
My personal favorite of the two CW's (colorways). However, this is pure matter of taste. There is a lot to say about the details. Roughly speaking the Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Caged 'Varsity Red' gets the colors red, silver and white. The mesh upper shines in the well-known 'Varsity Red', which can be found on the OG colorway of the Air Max 1. Silver leather and mesh decorate the shoe as an overlay and together with the white midsole they create a dynamic, eye-catching look. The red swoosh on the side stands out with a high-contrast black border.
Silver
The colorway of the Nike Air Zoom Spiridon 'Silver' is for those who find a distinctive red upper too much of a good thing. Or just for those who find a red shoe simply doesn't match the outfits in their closet. With this classic colorway, I can add relatively little to my material overview of the 'Varsity Red'. Silver mesh upper, silver leather, mesh overlay and a silver swoosh with black bordering seam, adorn the shoe. But there is one important detail I haven't mentioned yet! The Air unit!
With Nike's Zoom technology the shoe is more than suitable for any activity. The Air unit gets a special extra here. Microfibers are used in the Air unit, which additionally cushion the impact of the foot on the ground. To be more precise: The fibers wich are used as compressed on impact, store the energy generated and release it to the ground shortly before returning to its original state to ensure maximum cushioning.???
