Nike comes out with a new colorway of the Air Max 90. The sneaker pays tribute to Latin American culture and will be released during Hispanic Heritage Month. The Nike Air Max 90 'Familia' will be released on September 29, 2021.

The 'Familia' is a colourful sneaker inspired by Latin American culture. The pair has a cheerful print and is inspired by the goalie shirts from the 90s. The upper of the model is made of recycled polyester. This makes each pair unique.
During Hispanic Heritage Month, the history and culture of Latin American citizens is celebrated. From 15 September to 15 October, the citizens of America organise various activities and celebrations. These celebrations all revolve around the Latin American culture.
Nike also released another pack during Hispanic Heritage Month. On 14 September 2021, Nike released the 'Lucha Libre-Inspired' collection in Mexico. This pack consisted of a Nike Air Force 1, an Air Max 90 and a Blazer High. All three models were dedicated to the 'Lucha Libre' sport, a wrestling sport that is very popular in Mexico.
The Nike Air Max 90 'Familia' has a daring look. The upper of the sneaker has the colours red, yellow, blue and green. The patchwork on the upper makes it a very unique design. These colours contrast well with the black mudguard and collar. Also the laces and the lacing eyes have got a black colour.
The emblem on the heel is yellow, as is the insole. The word "Familia" is inscribed on the side and on the midsole.
