After the green Limeade colorway blew us away last month, we now have the first release info on the new Nike Air Max 1 Premium 'Strawberry Lemonade'. The Sneaker Heads and Air Max 1 fans among you will remember Nike's Air Max Powerwall pack from 2006. This was dropped to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Air Max and featured the famous colorways like 'Lemonade', 'Morning Glory' and 'Pink'. This year we are now looking forward to the comeback of these styles!
Short fun fact at this point, dear community. Did you know that Tinker Hatfields Air Max 1 was also inspired by the one from the Centre Pompidou in Paris? This building has the pipes visible on the outside, which gave the legendary Nike designer the idea to use a visible Air Unit for his Air Max. Everyone thought he was crazy at first, but as we now know, the Air Max 1 and many of its successors are among the most popular sneakers ever made. the Colorway in Detail
The re-release of the Nike Air Max 1 Premium 'Strawberry Lemonade' looks very similar to its predecessor. Only a few features are new and slightly different. The base of the kicks consists of pink mesh. It is combined with pink leather pads. The whole upper is covered with different shades of pink. The famous Air Branding, which is the special style here, comes in white. The laces are in yellow and on the tongue you can see a strawberry with the Nike logo through it. A white outsole with yellow Air Unit completes the look.
