In 2022, Nike is celebrating the 35th anniversary of the Air Max 1. This is also reflected in the number of special AM1s released in the year. Now we can also count the Nike Air Max 1 Crepe 'Hemp' among them. This was first released in 2004 and is now returning, more than 18 years later.
Nike Air Max 1 Crepe 'Hemp' is lined in different earth tones with fresh mint details. On the upper is a base of woven hemp. The center panel is covered in suede overlays that are a tan colour. The mudguards are also suede and tan in colour.
Mint details can be found on the leather Swoosh, the branding on the heel, and the Air bubble. The white midsole offers a fresh break from the earth-coloured upper. Finally, there is a gum-coloured crepe outsole underneath the shoe.
The Nike Air Max 1 Crepe 'Hemp' will be available at the end of the year 2022. However, an exact date is not yet known. So keep an eye on the release calendar for further release information.
