Nike Air Max 1 Big Bubble comes in a 'Greyscale' colorway

The Nike Air Max 1 Big Bubble is arriving in a 'Greyscale' colorway. During Air Max Day 2023, Nike released the Big Bubble in the 'University Red' colorway. Now, Nike is showcasing the 'Greyscale' colorway. We can expect the sneaker to be released in 2023.

Nike is releasing a lot of Air Max 1 colorways in 2023. The classic silhouette was introduced in 1987. Before the release of the Air Max 1 that we know today, Tinker Hatfield designed the Big Bubble variant. This silhouette had an enlarged Air unit and came out in 1987.

Since its first release, the Big Bubble has remained under the radar until 2023. After its re-release in 2023, we are now seeing more Big Bubble colorways, including the 'Greyscale'. The 'Greyscale' color scheme is not unfamiliar to Nike and has appeared in the past on the Air Max 90, Air Max 95, and Air Max 97.

The Air Max 1 Big Bubble 'Greyscale' has a mesh upper. The suede overlays provide durability to the sneaker. The Nike branding is on the tongue and heel. The outsole has a black colour and contrasts well with the white midsole. The enlarged Air unit is visible in the heel.

The Nike Air Max 1 Big Bubble 'Greyscale' does not have an official release date yet. However, we can expect the colorway to release in 2023 by Nike. Keep an eye on our release calendar and don't miss the release.
