'South Korea' colorway ?
As you have read at the beginning, there was already a Nike Air Max Presto 'South Korea' colorway! Why Nike released a South Korea package you will find out soon! Last year the Nike Air Max 97 'Neon Seoul' was released (see picture below). Gwang Shin won the 'Nike: On Air challenge' and his design of the 'Nike Air Max 97' was marketed by Nike! The inspiration for the design came from his birthplace 'Seoul' (capital of South Korea). The Nike Air Max 97 silhouettes would have a whole Swoosh from Gwang instead of the small 'standard' Swoosh. The silhouette also got red & blue neon stripes - a masterpiece!
After the Nigeria 'Soccer Kits' was released in 2018, the South Korea pack is now coming in 2020! With South Korea on everyone's lips at the moment, Nike is probably taking advantage of this media focus! Why, because the boyband 'BTS' went viral and is known worldwide! You have never heard of the boyband 'BTS'? Then take a look at the YouTube video below!
Nike Air Force 1 'South Korea' ?
Let's get to the Nike Air Force 1 - the Nike special Korea release! The release date of these kickz is June 16, 2020! Let's have a closer look at the pairs. The white AF1 silhouette gets a 'little' color with this colorway. What you notice at first sight is that the two shoes of the same pair have a different colorway. The left shoe comes with a pink sole, pink laces and a pink edged Swoosh! The right Air Force 1 sneaker has a light blue sole, light blue laces and the Swoosh is also framed in light blue!
It's a bit unusual, but yes… But now for the shoe details! At the heel the Nike Air Force branding was replaced by the South Korean flag! 'Gotta represent the culture!' and the Nike branding on the shoe tongue has been replaced by a tiger head! Why? Because the tiger is the logo of the South Korean football team. Before I forget, the Swoosh also got the black & white stripes! The highlight of this sneaker is that the heel, the Swoosh and the 'Tiger' branding glow in the dark (see pictures below)!
