BMX'er Nigel Sylvester is having an important year at Nike. Earlier in 2024, the athlete unveiled his first Air Jordan 4 RM colorway in collaboration with Nike called 'Grandma's Driveway'. A few releases later, we see the next colorway that uses 'University Blue'.
Last weekend, Sneakercon took place in New York. During this event, rare sneakers were displayed, unique pieces were sold and upcoming releases were revealed. Nigel Sylvester was also in attendance and was spotted wearing a never-before-seen Air Jordan 4 RM colorway.
The sneaker features a gray colorway with “University Blue” details on the heel. The silhouette takes inspiration from the Air Jordan 4 but adds modern modifications. The model also has a low collar which makes it the ideal shoe for BMX'ing or skating.
As the clip above shows, the Nigel Sylver x Air Jordan 4 RM 'University Blue' appears to be a 1-for-1 release just for the BMX'er himself. Whether the sneaker will ever be available to the public remains to be seen.
