Mache Customs has unleashed its creativity on the New Balance 57/40 'Pizza Day'. The sneaker is, you guessed it, inspired by pizza and has released on February 9, the day of the pizza. The kicks can already be found in selected Foot Locker shops and on February 22nd online via Foot Locker and New Balance.
The colours and details of the Mache Customs x New balance 57/40 'Pizza Day' are based on a pizza. On the tongue is a red and white checkered pattern reminiscent of a pizza box. Inside are the toppings, cheese and pepperoni. The top has the colour of the dough. In addition, there are the colours green of the oregano and red of the tomato sauce.
To top it off, the 'Pizza Day' comes in a box that looks like a pizza box. This combined with all the other details really gives you the idea that you are holding a pizza in your hands instead of a sneaker.
