Last month Jordan Brand announced the jumping line up of 2021. In this lineup there were several Air Jordan models, one of these models was the Air Jordan 4 'UNC'. This Air Jordan 4 does not only have the popular 'UNC' colours, but also other materials and nice details.

The Air Jordan 4 first came out in 1989 and was designed by Tinker Hatfield. Of the previous Jordan releases, the Air Jordan 4 was the first to be released globally. One of the first colorways that came out were the White/Black, 'Black Cement', 'Fire Red' and 'Military Blue'. When the Air Jordan 4 was first released, people didn't really like the shoe. Still people started to appreciate the sneaker more and more over the years and the Air Jordan 4 got its first re-release in 1999. To this day the Air Jordan 4 is at the top of most popular Air Jordan models.

Let's start with the tongue first, because a nice little detail has been added. On the tongue is the usual Jordan patch, but another patch has been added. This patch has the number 23 on it with some text on the side. Looking at the upper part we see that it is almost completely made of blue suede. It wouldn't be an Air Jordan 4 without the plastic mesh parts on the midfoot and toe box. The blue suede is combined with cement details on the heel and laceholder. Underneath the upper is a white and cement midsole that is combined with a black-grey outsole.

The Air Jordan 4 'UNC' will be released on Saturday 6 March at Nike. Keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers release calendar to never miss another sneaker release and check out the images below.
