The Grote Tim & Tom Sneaker Show is hosted by Sneakerjagers' own duo, consisting of Tommy Triggah and Tim Beumers. Every two weeks, the duo comes up with a new episode discussing the latest news from the sneaker community. From anticipated releases to personal experiences and anecdotes - all in one show.
They don't do this alone. Every episode, Tim and Tom invite a new guest. This week there are two: Rolph and Erik, the founders of the sneaker store Calico Club.
Calico Club
In 2013, Erik and Rolph opened the first branch of Calico Club (@calicoclubstore), then known as Calicio Jack. The sneaker and clothing store quickly expanded. Three years after opening, the duo moved to a larger location and things have been going fast ever since. With three locations in the Netherlands and several collaborations, Calico Club has become a well-known name in the Dutch sneaker community.
Calico Club's focus is on bringing the community together. Erik and Rolph do this by organizing events, such as the Stone Island Exchange this weekend, and by collaborating with inspiring names and brands.
Last year, the duo celebrated Calico Club's 10-year anniversary. In the 10 years of business, the store has already achieved a lot, something that was crowned with a collaboration with Amsterdam clothing brand Tenue. The recent collaboration with G-Star RAW was also considered a milestone.
Calico Club's assortment consists of styles such as 'outdoor luxury & tech,' 'sophisticated designer,' 'Japanese street' and 'Italian sportswear,' as the store puts it. Brands such as Stone Island, Comme des Garçons, Arte Antwerp and many more appear in the collection. Looking at the three different establishments, luxury, and comfort is something that is highly valued.
