Rosalía is New Balance’s newest addition. As of today, the artist — known for songs like BIZCOCHITO, LA FAMA, and LA COMBI VERSACE — is the brand’s new global ambassador. In a new campaign, Rosalía appears wearing the New Balance 204L, which is set to make its debut soon.

A match made in heaven, if you ask me. As a fan of Rosalía — from her music to her personal style — it’s refreshing to see the singer taking a big step into the fashion world, following her 2023 collaboration with Nike and FC Barcelona.
“Rosalía reflects the celebration of independence that the New Balance brand has represented since 1906,” said Chris Davis, Chief Marketing Officer of New Balance, in a statement. “We are honoured to welcome her into our family with the goal of personifying her creativity, unique individuality, and courage to defy convention.”
New Balance is kicking off the ambassadorship with a bold five-part campaign starring Rosalía. Shot like a nostalgic film production, the campaign follows her journey filled with confidence and purpose. From New Balance’s headquarters in Boston, she delivers a mysterious package — a painting featuring the New Balance x Rosalía logo — to New York.
New Balance 204L
In the campaign, Rosalía is seen wearing the New Balance 204L, New Balance’s latest low-profile design. The sneaker combines premium suede with 2000s-era technology and will make its debut this month, July 2025, at New Balance.

I’ve always been a fan of New Balance, and that’s why working with the brand is especially exciting for me. I love how New Balance has brought sport and culture closer together in recent years and I couldn’t be more excited and grateful to be an ambassador.”
Whether the Grammy-winning singer will release her own sneaker shortly is still unknown. Looking at New Balance’s previous ambassadors — such as Aminé — it’s certainly a possibility. I can’t wait.
