Nike is working on a new recovery shoe: the Nike 24.7 Recovery Boot. The first colorway is called 'Dark Driftwood'. With the Nike 24.7 Recovery Boot, Nike targets the moment after the effort: winding down after training, a game or a long day at work.
In this article, we'll show you what this new design is all about.

Nike is of course known for its innovation and the latest technologies and ideas it uses to impress time and again.
The Recovery Boot is now the brand's next stroke of genius for fall 2026. So far, though, we mostly have rumors and first details for you.
The color scheme pairs Dark Driftwood with Mosswood Brown and Orange Pulse accents. The brown upper looks soft and features a generously padded collar. The interior is richly padded too.
There are no laces: you simply step in. Nike keeps the branding deliberately low-key, with just a small Swoosh on the lateral side.

Built for after the workout
Nike opts for a taller, boot-like shape here. The idea is clear: recovery and comfort before and after sport.

Beneath the upper of the Nike 24.7 Recovery Boot sits a stacked foam midsole. Nike itself calls it a 'bellowed compression' approach.
The heel stands out with its layered ridges and sculpted shape. A raised sidewall is meant to keep your foot in place.
The outsole might be the most surprising part. Under the brown sole sit bright Orange Pulse pods, designed to absorb impact and add some bounce.
A color contrast you only spot when you flip the boot over.

Not Nike's first recovery shoe
Nike has been experimenting with shoes built around recovery and focus for a while. Early 2026 brought the Nike Mind 001, a slip-on mule, and the Nike Mind 002, a sneaker. Both feature 22 individual foam nodes in the sole that stimulate pressure points under your foot.
The idea: you feel calmer and more focused before and after a game.
Nike went a step further in 2025 together with Hyperice. Their Hyperboot is a battery-powered high-top that combines heat with air compression for your feet and ankles, designed for warming up and recovering afterwards.
The 24.7 Recovery Boot is a much simpler build. There is no indication that it uses Nike Mind technology.

Release and price
An EU release date and a retail price in euros have not been confirmed yet. The Nike 24.7 Recovery Boot is expected to arrive later in 2026 via Nike and select retailers.
