New Balance releases another sneaker with JJJound

New Balance has once again teamed up with JJJound. After the success of their collaboration with the New Balance 992, they are now releasing a 990v4 silhouette. The snaeker that was made about 40 years ago to be used as a running shoe has had many collaborations and now it is the turn again of JJJound.

The JJJJound x New Balance 990v4

The first images of the collaboration between JJJound and New Balance have come out. The New Balance 990 has already been released in multiple colorways last year including the '30th Anniversary 'Made in de USA' and the collaboration with Joe Freshgood on the New Balance 990v3. Also, the first images of the collaboration between Levi's and the New Balance 990v3 have surfaced.

So the 990 silhouette is a popular sneaker in 2021 with many different releases. JJJound has collaborated with New Balance before and in 2020 released the JJJJound x New Balance 992. This pair was released in two different colorways. In addition, JJJound has released sneakers with Vans and Reebok.

The first images of the JJJOund x New Balance 990v4 show a black sneaker with indigo blue hues. Justin Saunders, designer of JJJound, is known for his minimalistic designs. This is once again clearly visible in the new 990v4 where especially the details play a major role. On the insole you can see JJJound's logo, and on the tongue you can see the New Balance logo and the 990v4 model.

The sneaker consists of a combination of mesh and suede and has a black midsole and outsole. When the colorway will be released is still unknown, but it will probably be at the end of 2021.
