New Balance adds the 990v3 to the 'Made 990 Version Series'. The New Balance 990 is celebrating its 40th anniversary next year and to celebrate, several 990 models are being brought back one by one. The 990v1 and 990v2 have already been released and now the New Balance 990v3 follows.

The New Balance 990 celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2022. The model made its debut in 1982 and is known for its dad shoe silhouette. There have been a lot of different colorways made of the model over the years, but especially the grey colorway is characteristic for the sneaker. The previous 990v1 and 990v2 were released earlier in 2021 and also consisted of different shades of grey.
The New Balance 990v1 was designed as a running shoe but quickly became a popular sneaker for everyday use. After the 990v1 was released in 1982, the model started to improve in the subsequent designs of the 990 series.
The 990v3 'Made 990 Version Series' has a grey colorway just like the previous 990s. The sneaker consists of different materials including suede and mesh. The New Balance logo is on both sides of the sneaker and is stitched in grey on the shoe.
The midsole has a grey colour, just like the upper of the sneaker. The shoe has red accents on the sides and on the tongue. On the tongue you can see the brand in red and on the sides of the sneaker there are labels with 'version 3'. On the heel is the model 990 printed in suede. The model has the ENCAP-sole which provides cushioning in the midsole.
