New Balance continues to make moves in the areas of culture, sport and innovation. These three characteristics form the basis of The TRACK. A new multi-sport facility, which the brand recently opened in Boston, America. The New Balance team will train professional and community athletes in the building throughout the year. In this blog, you will get a tour of the building!
The TRACK
In the building there is an indoor track with two terrains, which can be changed into a field such as basketball, football and volleyball courts. The TRACK can therefore fulfil several needs. In addition, the building nextdoor, the Roadrunner, is a concert hall of 50,000 square metres.

Sports Research Lab
The most impressive thing about The TRACK is the Sports Research Lab. Which occupies over 19,000 square metres of the building. Where you can find equipment of very high quality. It allows the New Balance Team to train the athletes and enhance their performance in real time. The lab includes 360-degree motion capture devices, force plates to measure foot pressure and more.

Opening The TRACK
The opening started with a speech by Euphoria actress and New Balance ambassador, Storm Reid. This was followed by a speech by Joe Preston. After the opening speech, there was a fashion presentation. There were several outfits that presented the upcoming New Balance clothing.
There was also a special performance by New Balance ambassador Jack Harlow. Who, together with DJ and record boss DJ Drama, played tracks. This way, the opening was ended in style.
Next to The Auerbach Center (the official training facility of the Boston Celtics) and Warrior Ice Area (the official training facility of the Boston Bruins), The TRACK will be known as the sports, innovation and lifestyle centre of New Balance.
