On 26 February at midday, New Balance will release two new New Balance 991 20th Anniversary Editions! Indeed, in 2021, the New Balance 991 celebrates its 20th anniversary, having debuted in the UK in 2001, with Navy/Moonbeam colorways.
The New Balance 991 may not have had as good a year as its other brandmates last year, but this sneaker is threatening to make headlines this year with its two 20th anniversary editions. New Balance also recently announced another collaboration, with Patta, which resulted in the Dusty-Pink colorway.
This time the New Balance 991 has arrived in Stockholm at Sneakersnstuff, and they are releasing these cool grey models together with New Balance. Both models have the iconic earthy Moonbeam Grey colour as a base. The Moonbeam Grey colour adorns the suede overlays, and the mesh pieces come in different shades of grey. The heel features the original launch year on top of a reflective oval panel. And the back of the tongue labels also show the release year.
The first edition, in addition to Moonbeam Grey, also features recognisable navy colours in the branding on the tongue, the lace keeps, and the "N" logo on the side. The second edition features emerald-coloured details, and may hint at a women's exclusive edition. These sneakers are available worldwide from 26 February, 12:00, starting at £169-.
