A new variant of the New Balance 550 will be released soon. This time, the model is dipped in a 'Carolina Blue' colorway. A simple shoe that carries a lot of style and history.

The New Balance brand was founded in 1906. The first models were intended to offer support to people with foot problems. This was done by creating special shoes and insoles. However, from 1941, the brand expanded its range to include sports shoes, such as football, basketball and running shoes.

Launched in 1989 under the name P550, the New Balance 550 was launched as a basketball shoe at the time. With the help of Aimé Leon Dore, the silhouette was pulled from the archives and re-released in 2020 and 2021. Thus, the model has not only conquered the sports world, but is now attracting the fashion world as well.

The 550 features a white and light blue colour scheme. The upper of the shoe is a composition of leather and mesh. The holes in the mesh material ensure sufficient air in the shoe during wear.

The shoe also contains a number of characteristic details that distinguish the 550 model. The N-logo that can be found on the middle lining on the side of the shoe is white and is finished with a light blue border. Next to the logo are the three numbers that belong to the 550 silhouette. These are also executed in light blue.
