Art collective MSCHF jumps on the Timberland trend and comes out with its own 6-inch inspired boot. MSCHF is known for its crazy and sometimes controversial designs, and the 2x4 Boot is no exception. When the MSCHF 2x4 Boot will release is still unknown.
The MSCHF collective has had a successful year. In 2023, the Internet broke after the release of the Big Red Boot, a red boot reminiscent of shoes from the cartoon character Astro Boy. The shoe caused a stir and raised question marks among many. MSCHF is known for its insane designs and the Big Red Boot confirmed this once again.
Now we see another design from the collective; the MSCHF 2x4 Boot. Although the shoe does not mention the Timberland brand anywhere, there is no denying the similarities with the well-known 6-Inch Boot. Shortly after collaborating with Louis Vuitton and Veneda Carter, now MSCHF also seems to be embracing the Timberland boot with a reversed design.
The shoe is all rubber and has the midsole placed on the upper. The well-known pattern normally found on the sole has been pressed into the toe cap, giving the pair a bizarre look. The lace eyelets, on the other hand, are again suspiciously reminiscent of the Louis Vuitton clover that appears in the vector motif.
