It's that time of the week again when we look at the 'Most Wanted Sneaker Releases'. In this series we look back at the most wanted drops of the previous week. The week of 20 to 26 June was again packed with hyped kicks.
Most of these sneaker releases were so popular that they have since sold out everywhere. It is still possible to obtain a pair via the different sneaker marketplaces. 1. Teddy Santis x New Balance 990v3 | M990TG3
This week's Most Wanted Sneaker Release is the Teddy Santis x New Balance 990v3 Made in the USA. In 2021, Teddy Santis, the founder of the clothing brand 'Aimé Leon Dore', was named creative director of the Made in the USA line. In 2022 Santis finally released a collection under his direction. There were three different sneakers part of this collection and one highlight is the NB 990v3.
The hairy suede overlays that are grey in colour cover most of the majority of the upper. Underneath the overlays, the base is made of mesh that has a sail colour. The underlays found on the upper are made of a high quality pigskin suede that is also a sail colour. The comfortable 'ENCAP' midsole consists of a cream and white colour combination, which gives the sneaker a retro look.
2. Air Jordan 4 Retro 'Infrared' | DH6927-061
The Air Jordan 4 Retro 'Infrared' has a clean upper consisting of different shades of grey combined with striking red details. The overlays and the tongue are made of suede in a dark grey shade. The mudguards also feature grey suede, but of a lighter shade. The midsole is completely white which creates a colour gradient on the shoe, from dark grey to white. Furthermore, the pair contains various black and red details.

3. adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 'Blue Tint' | B37571
Originally released in 2017, the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 'Blue Tint' received another restock in 2022. The pair features a primeknit upper with a white-grey striped pattern. The exterior of the Yeezy features the well-known 'SPLY-350' text in red. The lining is in an ice blue colour, which is also found on the boost midsole.
4. adidas Adilette 22 | GX6946 | GX6945 | GY1597 | GX6947
Four new colorways of the adidas Adilette 22 were also released. These were the Magic Lime, St Desert Sand, Magic Lime/St Desert Sand en Aluminium/Carbon. adidas wanted to give their classic Adilette slides a new futuristic look. The inspiration for this silhouette came from two things: expeditions to mars and 3D topography.
5. adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 'Onyx' | HQ4540
We finish off the list with the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 'Onyx'. This sneaker looks black, but is in actuality a very dark shade of grey. The upper is made again of a comfortable primeknit material. Then on top of this is a horizontal stripe that is a slightly lighter shade of grey than the rest of the upper. To complete the monochromatic look, the sole is the same colour as the upper.
