Most Wanted Sneaker Releases – Week 24

It's Tuesday again and that means it's time for the 'Most Wanted Sneaker Releases', the series where we look back at the releases that went the hardest the previous week. Also in the week of June 13 to 19, 2022, many special sneakers were dropped.

Many of these pairs have gone so hard that they are now sold out at all retailers. However, they are still available through the resale platforms. On the Sneakerjagers resell page you can find out through which resale marketplace you can get your wanted sneaker in your size the cheapest.

Below you can find an overview of the five 'Most Wanted Sneaker Releases' of week 24.

The 'Most Wanted Sneaker Release' of week 24 is the Air Jordan 4 'Zen Master'. The upper of the sneaker features a tie-dye pattern with different shades of pink and purple. The details are mainly black or transparent. The laces, collar, midsole and mesh are black. The TPU Lacewings and heel-tab are transparent. The subtle use of colour in the details gives the tie-dye upper room to stand out.

The design and also the name are a tribute to Michael Jordan's old coach, Phil Jackson, who used Buddhism and other spiritual practices in his training.

NikeCraft 'General Purpose Shoe' | DA6672-200

When artist Tom Sachs and Nike collaborate, you would expect to see a futuristic space shoe. The NikeCraft General Purpose Shoe (GPS) is actually the complete opposite. This shoe is meant for general use. To be used as a tool for daily life, without any bells or whistles.

The design of the NikeCraft GPS is simple, but effective. The upper is made of an ultra breathable knit material with a microfiber collar. Underneath is a three-piece cup sole. This combination of simple design and high quality materials makes the GPS comfortable and supportive for a reasonable price.

If you missed the drop and can afford to pay the resale price for it. Not to worry! Tom Sachs has released a statement saying that the sneaker will be restocked later.

Nike SB Dunk Low 'Valour Blue' - Phillies | DQ4040-400

The Nike SB Dunk Low 'Valour Blue' - Phillies colorway is inspired by the Philadelphia Phillies, a baseball team. Different leathers are combined on the upper. The base of the SB Dunk is made of nubuck and is coloured blue. The overlays are suede and also blue. The Swoosh, heel tab and tongue are burgundy.

The use of colour on the upper and the gum outsole give the sneaker a retro look. Under the label, there is a nice nod to Philadelphia. On the left shoe, you find a stitching of the 'Philly cheesesteak' and on the right one of the Liberty Bell, the historical bell from the city.

Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG 'Visionaire' | 555088-702

The tongue has an off-white tint, which makes it look vintage.
