Most Loved WMNS Sneakers by Women for Women so far in 2021

It's safe to say that in the first five to six months of 2021, we've seen some of the best sneakers for women, from the freshest Dunk colours to collaborations, signature sneakers and more. Many brands have really started to connect with today's female consumer. Unsurprisingly, Nike and Jordan have the most popular sneakers, mainly because of the hype, but that's not all women are interested in this year! Join us now for a mid-year review of the most loved WMNS sneakers.

Ambush x Nike Dunk High 'Royal Blue' |CU7544-40

By far the best candidate on our list is the Ambush Dunk in 'Royal Blue'. We've previously seen the motorcycle-like sneaker in black/white and 'Lethal Pink', but this colourway really kicks ass. The deep blue tones, aged midsole and thick black Swoosh make this sneaker so badass.

Aleali May x Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT | DJ1199-400

A contender for the best WMNS sneaker of the year next to the Dunk is the fourth sneaker from Aleali May! Although many were sceptical at first, the sneaker has really grown on people and is now worn and loved by women and men alike.

This is not a 'normal' Jordan 1, as the kicks come with Zoom cushioning for ultimate comfort. The 'Califa' colourway also focuses on a beautiful dark blue, green and off-white, complemented by an eye-catching yellow outsole.

A Ma Maniere x Jordan 3 'Raised by Women' |
DH3434-110

Not necessarily designed by women, but one that has been inspired by and resonated with many women is the A Ma Maniere Jordan. A sneaker that many have praised endlessly for its attention to detail, campaign, support of women and more! James and his team have created something that is so much more than just a product that will surely be remembered for years to come.

Nike x Sacai Vaporwaffle

Sacai and Nike have been partners for many years and conjure up the coolest sneakers. With the LD Waffle, they have launched an even more extreme version in 202, the Vaporwaffle. The latest colorways were a miss for some, others love the bold new colours even more than the last.

WMNS Jordan 1 'Silver Toe' | CD0461-001

One of the most popular Jordans in 2021 is probably the 'Silver Toe' WMNS Air Jordan 1 High. Incredibly wearable and not too flashy, it's very reminiscent of the Jordan 1 Retro High Aleali May Shadow from 2017 with the colours that we women like.

Arwa al Banawi x adidas forum 84 Low | G58260

Since launching her eponymous brand in 2015, Al Banawi has been known for her unique ability to combine her Middle Eastern heritage with contemporary streetwear styles to create androgynous yet feminine pieces for the modern woman.

This season, she has applied her talents to the adidas Originals Forum Low sneaker, unveiling a new take on the silhouette that fuses Eastern and Western influences in a celebration of cultures.

New Balance 991 (Made in England) | M991PAT

For the 20th anniversary of the Silhouette, we saw the femininely styled 991 in a range of colorways. A simple but undoubtedly classic style, the 991 will always be an NB icon as it continues to stand the test of time. One of the most notable 2021 versions, was this one with the Streetwear Brand Patta.

Danielle Guizio x Reebok Club C

An honourable mention goes to the very latest Guizio x Reebok Club C. A simple beige and cream colorway has been used, but cute details and detailed branding make this sneaker more bougie than any basic, making it a must-have summer shoe.
