In 2018, MCM and PUMA joined forces for the first time. At the time, to mark the 50th anniversary of the silhouette, the duo revamped the iconic Suede. The collection sold out in no time. Now in 2022, the German brands have unleashed their creativity on the Slipstream Lo. The first MCM x PUMA Slipstream Lo will be available worldwide from 8 September 2022.
The new PUMA x MCM collection will have three different drops. The first is a Slipstream Lo called Show Love, which combines the colors yellow, brown and white. Which refers to the house style of MCM. In addition, the sneaker features the brand's signature cognac Visetos Monogram.
Dirk Schönberger, Global Brand Officer at MCM says of the upcoming collaboration: 'The collaboration tells a great story about the heritage of both brands, but also how important culture is to MCM and its connection to all relevant topics for our consumers - from sports, to music, to the influence of street culture for luxury brands'.
The second drop, inspired by the Cubic Monogram, will take place in October. The third, a TRC Blaze Court, will launch in 2023. First up, we can look forward to the PUMA Slipstream Lo, which will release worldwide on September 8, 2022 and will cost around €500. Check out the images of the pair below!
