The sneaker is made of patent leather reminiscent of the well-known BAPE sneakers. The 'Lucky Green', Lil Yachty's second collaboration with Nike, pays tribute to two icons: the 1980s basketball shoe that evolved into a streetwear staple, and the Georgia-born rapper who rose to fame through rap battles.

Update May 13, 2025 – A release that’s been anticipated for quite some time: the Air Force 1 'Lucky Green' in collaboration with Lil Yachty. This colorful sneaker brings to mind a BAPE release, largely due to the use of shiny patent leather.
Now it seems that the release will also include a Friends & Family variant.
Unlike his first collab from 2024, this sneaker uses a bold color palette consisting of bright green, red, and yellow — a colorway that evokes Rasta influences. The logo of Yachty’s hip-hop collective Concrete Boys can be found on the heel, along with the text “It’s Us” on the tongue.
It now appears that a “For The Family” version will also be released. It uses the same colors but will most likely come in a special shoebox (similar to his previous Nike collab).
