Levi Strauss & Co. have already entered into several collaborations with various sneaker and/or sports brands and now announce a partnership with New Balance! The Levi's x New Balance M1300 'Orange Tab' continues the "Collab-Run" of New Balance. The brand with the "N" has attracted a lot of attention in the last months and especially this month by collaborations with different brands. Collaborations with KITH, Aimé Leon Dore or Joe Freshgoods, for example, are among the hyped releases that are currently giving New Balance a lot of presence.
The Levi's x New Balance M1300 'Orange Tab' celebrates its first release in Japan already on March 26, 2020 at 5:00 pm at retailers like BEAMS', UNITED ARROWS', Levi's flagship stores and Dover Street Market Ginza. Levi's x New Balance M1300 'Orange Tab' - The Details
A beauty! The silhouette of the New Balance M1300 already has quite a few fans. So it's no wonder that in the past many collaborations celebrated their partnership on it. The Levi's x New Balance M1300 'Orange Tab' does not only celebrate a collab of two brands. The silhouette of the NB M1300 reaches its 35th year in 2020! Happy Birthday! ?
But now let's really get down to the details of the materials used! Because there are still some surprising things to say. ?
At first glance, we can immediately see that the shoe has been produced with the finest materials. Of course, we don´t expect anything else from New Balance. For this shoe specifically is chosen for high-quality materials from Levi's. Let's start with the upper material. Here they used a suede, which normally plays a big role on Levi Strauss & Co. trousers. Because the "two horse patch tan" is a seal that a product, is an original and is always located above the right rear trouser pocket. Two horses pulling a rope in opposite directions are branded on it. This symbolizes the resilience and robustness of the jeans. The same leather, on which this symbolic branding is located, is used here for the light brown, roughened upper material.
The highlight? The upper.
As you would expect, the new Levi's x New Balance M1300 'Orange Tab' was of course also made of denim. Even a very special one. Because the fabric that was used for the famous Levi's 501 will not be used anymore after this release. Because the company White Oak, which produced this denim for Levi's, does not exist anymore. This means that this shoe will get a limited fabric in addition to this special collaboration, which will not be produced anymore after this release! The "Orange Tab" (the stitching with the inscription "LEVI'S") can be found on the left shoe. The heel cap and the concise "N" both got a leather in orange.
The best way to convince yourself is to have a look at the picture below. Here you can also see the inscription on the island "Levi's for feet". We wish you good luck in getting hold of the shoe and of course we will keep you informed. There will be new information hopefully very soon & you can get it directly from us! ?
