Nike reveals the official images of the LeBron x Nike Air Max 1 'Liverpool'. The unique collaboration between the three names is expressed in a sleek color scheme that takes its inspiration from the kits of football team Liverpool FC. The sneaker arrives at Nike on the 4th March 2023.
Nike comes up with a very unique collaboration indeed. Together with basketball player LeBron James and British football team Liverpool FC, the brand comes up with a sleek colourway of the Air Max 1. LeBron has been part-owner of the British team since 2011 and in 2020, Liverpool FC signed a five-year deal with Nike. In short, plenty of reasons for a sneaker release that celebrates the collaboration of the three names.
The LeBron x Nike Air Max 1 'Liverpool' comes in the colours of the Liverpool FC shirt. The upper is mesh comes in a white colour. Overlays across the tongue and heel have a deep green colour and are made of premium leather. The Swoosh, as well as the mudguard, colours black and contrasts nicely with the white upper.
The bright red collar gives the sneaker a playful twist. The insole features the football team's logo and the basketball player's well-known crown logo. A striking detail on the Air Max 1 'Liverpool', is the branding on the heel. Instead of the Nike Air logo, the letters YNWA (You'll Never Walk Alone) and SFG (Strive for Greatness) are on the back.
