There are new releases from Karhu planned for the month of February! This time, the Finnish brand comes out with two new sneaker models with different colorways. Take a look at the latest Karhu sneakers here.
KARHU
Karhu is a Finnish brand that has been around since 1906. The brand started with products for running and focused on outdoor gear. Karhu means "bear" in Finnish, which can also be seen on the logo. Besides the bear, the letter "M" can often be seen on Karhu shoes. This letter comes from the word "Mestari", which means "Champion" in Finnish.
Although the brand develops good running gear, they also have unique lifestyle sneakers. For their February release, they come out with new colorways for two models: the Albatross 82 and the Mestari.
Albatross 82
The Albatross 82 features a unique Air Cushion Construction. Karhu was the first brand to invent this technique in 1970. The technique was so revolutionary that other major shoe brands also adopted it. The Albatross was Karhu's most famous shoe that had this Air Cushion. The model was very popular with both men and women because it was a light, sporty shoe. Especially for their new release of the Albatross 82, they're bringing back an exact replica in no less than 4 different colourways.
Mestari
The Mestari was also designed by the Finnish brand decades ago. The model was first released in 1977 and remained popular all over the world for a long time. More than 1 million pairs of Mestari were sold! Now, in 2021, the model returns with its Air Cushion Midsole and four colourful designs.
