The story behind the Karhu Fusion 2.0
The roots of the Karhu Fusion 2.0 lie in the previous model 'Fusion', which was one of the most popular shoes among athletes in 1996. To bring back this hype, the former head designer of the Finnish brand was brought back - with success!
The special features of the Karhu Fusion 2.0
Efficiency and comfort meet the highest quality and modern design in the Karhu Fusion 2.0 - breathable mesh uppers, high-quality laces through metallic eyelets and the high-end sole with 'Fulcrum Technology'.
The latter provides support for forward movement. Add to that Ortix technology for the perfect fit based on over 2 million 3D foot scans.
Together, these features make for a durable sneaker that can withstand special situations.
Perfect Match: Karhu Fusion 2.0 = Traveln
'Tea Rose' F804102 | Laguna Colorado
The muted blue and the flamingo-coloured upper on the front and heel make the Fusion look colourful and bright.
Accordingly, the colourway 'Tea Rose' is perfectly suited to be presented at the so-called 'Laguna Colorada' in Bolivia.
The pink shimmering lake and the frequent visit of the flamingos, as well as the often bright blue sky, perfectly match the colours of this model.
'Lemonade' F804066 | Polarlights
Even though the colorway is called 'Lemonade', the sight of this sneaker reminds me of the aurora borealis with their yellow-green light trails in the night.
Of course, this fits perfectly with the origin of the Karhu model. The brand originally comes from Finland and translates as bear. So it would be strong as a bear to wear this sneaker on an aurora borealis night in Finland.
In Northern Lapland, Finland, the aurora borealis can be seen about every second clear night between September and March. In the south, you can marvel at the natural phenomenon about 10-20 times a year.
'Walnut' F804096 | Palatinate Almond Trail
After the Bolivia and Finland trip, you land in Germany and relax in the Palatinate with good local vino and a walk on the famous Palatinate Almond Trail.
Even though the colorway is called 'Walnut', this is a different nut. The pink tones of the blossoming almond trees, as well as the brown tones of the tree trunk and the surrounding rock harmonise with the colourway. A holiday for the soul and the feet!
