KangaROOS releases a new design for the GAMMA+. This time, the brand cooperates with German shop Acribik and cancer awareness movement NOBU. The sneaker has been given the name 'Fuck Cancer' and will therefore be a part of the battle against cancer. Part of the profits will go to the German bone marrow donation centre. The GAMMA+ 'Fuck Cancer' will be on sale on 16 July 2022 at KangaROOS.
NOBU stands for "None Other But Us" and was founded by the shop manager of Acribik. His diagnosis of cancer has inspired him to raise awareness of cancer among people. In this way, he wants to offer strength and support to people with the diagnosis.
The upper of the new design is made of suede and corduroy. In combination with this, the sneaker has an EVA foam sole with a Dynacoil cushioning system, which provides extra comfort when wearing the shoe for long periods of time. The text 'Fuck Cancer' is placed on the heel and on the insoles, showing the battle against cancer.
