Nike and Jacquemus team up for the first time and come up with an extensive collection. This collection also features two colorways of the Nike Air Humara. The items from the collab will drop on June 28, 2022.
On May 16, 2022, Jacquemus teased an upcoming collaboration with Nike via an Instagram post. In the following weeks, the first images of various clothing items from the collection appeared. This included the two colorways of the Nike Air Humara.
Now, about a month later after the first images of the collab, we get to see the official images of the sneakers. The Jacquemus x Nike Humara has a retro feel to it. The inspiration for the Jacquemus x Nike collection comes from Nike's vintage items from the 90s.
"I have always been inspired by vintage ACG pieces and Nike campaigns from the ’90s. Having this imagery in mind, we designed women’s athletic wear with sensuous details and neutral colors, along with my own interpretation of the Humara, my favorite Nike shoe", says Jacquemus.
The Air Humara arrives in two colorways. The first one colors white and has beige overlays. A mini Swoosh is placed on the center panel, this colors gold here. On the tongue and heel, the Jacquemus logo appears. A red lace stretches across the collar and heel.
The second colorway turns deep red and has the same details as the beige version. For example, a gold Swoosh is placed on the center panel and the lace up over the collar also returns. A notable detail about this variant, is the pattern on the midsole. The Jacquemus x Nike collection will drop on June 28, 2022.
