J Balvin's Air Jordan 4 'Lemonade' Features Croc Leather

J Balvin is diving into a fourth Jordan collaboration with the Air Jordan 4 'Lemonade', and this one goes full yellow.

The Air Jordan 4 'Lemonade' is expected to release on September 25, 2026, following his earlier AJ1, AJ2 and AJ3 drops.

The silhouette gets an upper built from croc-textured leather in a mix of yellow tones, ranging from pale yellow to a deeper golden yellow.

There's a glossy finish under the collar, and the heel carries two separate logos: a debossed Nike Air mark on the left and Balvin's signature upside-down smiley on the right, both rendered in metallic silver.

Dual-language dubraes run along the tongue, reading "Just Do It" on one side and "Solo Hazlo" on the other, a nod to his Colombian roots.

The exact colour breakdown is still up for debate. Some sources describe the pair as strictly "all-yellow", while others point to a broader mix that also spans green, pink, blue and brown.

Jordan Brand itself still lists the model simply as "Lemonade/Lemonade", so the final palette will only become clear once official product images drop. That fits the AJ4 well: the silhouette's signature mesh panels and wing eyelets have long served as a strong canvas for bold, colourful collaborations.

Colombian roots

The Air Jordan 4 'Lemonade' is Balvin's fourth solo project with Jordan Brand. Before it came his Colores-inspired Air Jordan 1, an Air Jordan 2, and two colorways on the Air Jordan 3 'Rio'.

For this new pair, he reportedly drew on Medellín sunsets and the vivid colours of Colombia's Caño Cristales river.

He first showed off the colorway during his performance at the opening ceremony of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. He was already spotted in an unexplained Air Jordan 4 late last year, though, which in hindsight looks like an early glimpse of this very project.

Our take: J. Balvin once again shows off his love for colour and creativity, and we love it! On top of that, the mix of materials and colours with the croc leather and other accents is an absolute highlight.

Jordan Brand hasn't officially confirmed the September 25 release date yet.

Sales are expected to run through SNKRS and select Jordan Brand retailers. Once Nike puts the pair live, you'll find it through that link.

The Air Jordan 4 'Lemonade' fits a broader trend within Jordan Brand: collaborators increasingly go for bold, unconventional colorways rather than subtle tones.

For Balvin, who treats his music and his sneakers as extensions of one another, that's nothing new. Every drop tells its own visual story tied to a moment in his career.
